Welcome to Lone Star Working Dogs.  Please bare with us as our website takes shape.

Lone Star Working Dogs is an all breed working club with members and their dogs in training for various venues.  We are located approximately 1 hour North of Houston in Plantersville, Texas.  At LSWD we feel that it is important to maintain the integrity of our working breeds.  Only through proper training can one be certain that the working breeds of today continue the legacy created by dogs from the past.  Strong Working Ability, Stable Character/Temperment, Sound Structure and Solid Nerves are all characteristics that we strive for in our working dogs.

 

Lone Star Working Dogs  is fortunate to have an excellent, National level decoy/helper to work each and every dog within the club.  Darryl Richey has been training, doing decoy work and competing in various protection sports for the past 13 years.  Darryl is a multiple time PSA National Select Decoy, a WDA Certified Helper and is currently preparing for his French Ring and USA Decoy Certifications.
